E!TV announces upcoming Tiny Tim documentary
Will Air On March 25TH, 2001 at 9:00 EST!

Mrs. Susan Khaury

Dear ,

E! Entertainment Television is currently producing a one-hour program on the life and career of singer and comedic actor Tiny Tim. The show will be part of our award winning, critically acclaimed series E! True Hollywood Story, which features the life stories of people who have had a great impact on American society and popular culture.

Our story will follow Tiny Tim's quick and unpredictable rise to fame as a ukulele strumming musician and counter-culture icon. We will explore Tiny's obsession with vintage music, which led him to performing on the club circuit in New York's Greenwich Village in the 1950s. His unusual act garnered acclaim in amateur contests, and by the mid-Sixties Tiny was appearing on the Merv Griffin Show . In 1968, Tiny Tim caught America's attention with his appearances on Laugh-In; but the moment that everyone remembers most was Tiny Tim's marriage to "Miss Vicki" on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. We will also get rare insight into Tiny Tim's life away from the television and recording studios during the years spent out of the limelight, and his comeback with a country single in the early 1990s before his untimely passing.

We will present the Tiny Tim's story honestly through television clips, still photographs, re-enactments and interviews with family, friends and associates. At all times, our interviews will be conducted with fairness, balance and integrity and will take a responsible approach to the subject.

E!'s audience consists of upscale adults, aged 18-49, and is broadcast domestically in over 60 million homes, and in 120 countries and 400 million homes worldwide.

Thank you for considering my request. I would very much enjoy speaking with you about our show.

Warmest regards,

E! True Hollywood Story
E! Entertainment Television
