TINY TIM DISCOGRAPHY:
PART NINE: TINY TIM ACETATES
1963-1968

1963:
"WHISPERING VOICES" (Version 1) / "MY TRUE LOVE" (Version 1) - DUODISC (no #) (U.S.)
(Scarce 8" 78 r.p.m. acetate. both "Darry Dover" and "Tiny Tim" are written on the labels. "WHISPERING VOICES" was later released as "THE BALLAD OF ATTICA PRISON" in 1971. See also part one: U.S. SINGLES. Producer unknown.)

"WHISPERING VOICES" (Version 2) / "MY TRUE LOVE" (Version 2) - PRESTO (no #) (U.S.)
(Yet another 8" 78 r.p.m. acetate featuring two completely different recordings of these songs. These are probably the rarest known Tiny Tim recordings. The original sheet music in Tiny's handwriting was also included with these discs. Producer unknown.)

1964:
"ON THE OLD FRONT PORCH"/ "IF I HAD A TALKING PICTURE OF YOU"/ "THIS IS THE MISSIS"/ "TEN LITTLE FINGERS AND TEN LITTLE TOES"/ "EVER SINCE YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU LOVE ME (I'M A NUT") - ALLIED NEW YORK (no #) (U.S.)
(12" five song acetate cut from songs Tiny recorded in New York in1963. The songs were released in1964 inside issue #45 of PUSH PIN GRAPHIC, a graphic arts newsletter published by Milton Glaser for PUSH PIN STUDIOS. See also part eight: U.S. & IMPORT FLEXI DISCS. Special thanks to David Tibet for sharing this rare acetate.)

1966:
"APRIL SHOWERS"/ "I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER (WHERE I'M BOUND") - BUDDAH (no #) (U.S.)
(7" 45 R.P.M. acetate featuring an alternate version of "APRIL SHOWERS" and a early version of "I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER (WHERE I'M BOUND") which predates the version on Tiny's second Reprise album by two years. Special thanks to Richard Perry for this acetate.)

1968:
"GOD BLESS TINY TIM" - RCA VICTOR (No #) (U.S.)
(Label reads "RCA Reference Recording". This is a 12" 33 1/3 r.p.m. acetate of Tiny's first album. All tracks are mono and are the same as the official release. See also part two: U.S. ALBUMS for track listing. According to Richard Perry, 10 copies of this acetate were pressed. Song titles are hand written on the labels. Produced by Richard Perry.)

"THEN I'D BE SATISFIED WITH LIFE"/ "STRAWBERRY TEA" - UNITED RECORDING NEVADA (no #) (U.S.)
(10" 45 r.p.m. acetate featuring two songs from "GOD BLESS TINY TIM". This would have been the second 45 issued from the album but plans to release it were scrapped. Both songs are mono mixes. This is a one sided acetate. Both songs were produced by Richard Perry.)
